First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question
which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your
thoughts prior to writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting
my thoughts out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints?
Dear Penney. I think it´s important to develop the story before sitting down to write it. Every writer has their own system. I usually write in a more instinctive than technical way, but I always think of the scene before I sit down to write it. It´s difficult that the ideas come to you in the moment you start writing. So think of your story for a while. I use to do it at night, when the lights are off, that way you can visualize each scene plainly.
Good luck and thank you for coming to my blog.
